I only knew jack through our Wednesday night basketball games but the group has been together for more than 15 years.

I am so sorry and saddened over Jack's passing.  I extend my deepest sympathies to Linda, Josh, Justin and the Grossman family.  I played Baskeball with Jack on Wednesday nights.  He was competitive, had a lot of skill and  always loved to laugh and joke with his friends.  I will always remember his smiling face as we ran together. He loved it when Josh and Justin were able to play and always made sure they were on his team. He put family first, was ethical and had a quick wit.  His passing has been felt by our entire group and we will always fondly remember him.

I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing.  I grew up with Jack when he lived on Bexley.  Jeff Epstein, Jack and I would play together nearly everyday.  He truly had an infectuous laugh and a captivating personality. While I only got to see Jack at reunions during the last 20 years, it was nice to see that the sparkle in his eye was still exactly the same.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Mr Grossman was my Ethics teacher at ITT Tech in Warrensville.  I know he will be sorely missed by many of his students and peers. He was able to take a class and make it something much more.  He was a great man. RIP

Winter in Cleveland, winter in our souls. Jack is gone, but not in our minds and memory. Mr. Grossman was my Ethics and Government teacher at ITT Tech in Warrensville, and I cannot express how many students loved and looked up to this man. Always concerned about how we were doing not just in school, but our personal lives as well. Jack was and is one of my oldest friends. We stood up in each other's weddings, which creates its own kind of lifelong bond. But the memories and laughs we shared with our other high school pals are burned into my memory, and I'll never forget them. Last night I went through the photos of our decades of friendship. At first, I was heartbroken, devastated beyond words at the idea that I could never be with him again. But then the smiles piled up, one after another, dozens and dozens of photos, and not a single one without Jack's enormous grin, a grin that said he loved life and enjoyed the hell out of each moment. And it occurred to me that because of that quality in him, in a very real way, my friend Jackie can never really be gone from my life. I love you, Jack. To Stan & Sue my deepest love and sympathy.

I also know Jack thru Wednesday night basketball.  Jack was always there and always ready to unleash a 3 as soon as he passed half court.  He often came up to me before the games and asked how things were and what I was up to.  I vividly remember playing in the last game Jack played...and he was tenacious and determined!  Jack was never afraid to take "the shot" and I am guessing he lived his life that way.

Those Wednesday night games will never be the same and we will keep Jack in our thoughts and memories.

Each Wednesday for the past 5 years I had the pleasure of spending the evening playing b-ball with Jack.  Always a smile, always interested in how others were doing, and always proud  of his children - we will miss Jack, his attitude, and his 3 point shot.  My condolences go out to the entire Grossman family during this time of loss.

I was so sad to hear of Jack's passing. My dad played basketball with him, and I did computer work for him over the past few years. He was always pleasant to work for and I always enjoyed the time I spent with him.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
