Dear Family,
     My family and I were saddened to learn of Dr. Siegel's passing. He had been our doctor for many years- three generations! My records began in  fifth grade and I am now 56! As an adult, traveling from central Ohio to Cleveland for appointments with my family and I was a given. Dr. Siegal was a meticulous master physican, yet kind and approachable. Our prayers are with you.

Starting with cataract surgery on my Mother in the mid-1980's, Howard treated this family ever since.  He was witty, charming, gentle and listened well.  He was the Gold Standard for physicians.  

Now we are home in Buffalo and hope to find someone as Howard here.

We are so deeply saddened by the loss of Howard, our dear loyal friend and confidante. The Shabbat dinners, the special Passover Seders and the late evening business and medical consults are just some of the wonderful memories that will forever be etched in our minds. Howard and you have been so good to us in so many ways, during good times and during difficult times of loss.    Our hearts are with you during this very painful time. Howard was my doctor since 1980.  At my first visit to his office, he spent two hours with me diagnosing my vision problems. He was a brilliant, kind, funny man and he will a always have a special place in my heart.  Congratulations Howard to a life well lived and loved.

Judy, We are sorry to hear about your loss. We know how you and Howard had a strong loving relationship. I am so sorry to hear of cousin Howard's passing. He was friends with my father, his uncle Ernest, and enjoyed reconnecting with him on his 60th birthday.  My son, Dr. Michael Siegel, DVM, also sends his condolences over this loss.

Thanks to Dr. Siegel for being my eye doctor for over 10 years!  It was a joy to go there because he was more than just a physician.  I loved his cartoons, his artwork all over his office, and his warm personality.

Howard was a great person and a distinguished accomplished physician. He was also a great husband, father,

Dear Judith...I am very saddened by your loss. Nancy and I got to know you through the Saturday Night Dance Club and your interest in Ikebana. In our eyes you were the perfect couple and we enjoyed exchanging with you our travel adventures. I do know what you are going through, having lost my Nancy about a year ago. No words can express the deepest sorrow we feel at the passing of dear Howard, zâ€l.   You and him, the dynamic duo, have done so much for all of us over the years.  We will be forever grateful for the all the chesed (good deeds) he did for my dear parents.  He was their deeply respected physician, a beloved friend, advisor and confidante.  I personally will never forget those pop-in visits on Shabbat afternoons, especially those when my dear Dad zâ€l, was reaching his end.  You both came, dressed sharply, engaged him in stimulating conversations and brought a smile back to his and all of our faces.  
I would have loved to be there for you these last few weeks especially, but I know that you were surrounded by your loved ones.
 
May Howard's memory be for a blessing and may he intercede for us all in Heaven.
May the Almighty comfort you and make you strong at this difficult time.

I have many happy memories of Howard. Amy and Brett are sure to smile at the Wexner incident, the diamond studs on the day of her wedding, and the very special shirt he wore to Amy's 40th. The world has lost a very special and unique person and I am certain that the the feeling of loss you all feel is deep. I hope you'll find solace in the many memories you have of Howard.

Dearest Judith and Family...I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of such a wonderful husband, father and grandfather..he was also special to me as well. He was a very dear friend, former boss, colleague, and one of the biggest fans of Eyewear at the Hamptons. 
My heart goes out to all of you. He had such a passion for life and great knowledge and wisdom that he passed along to those he cared about. I learned so much from him.
He will be hugely missed by all those that were lucky enough to know him. I know he touched my life profoundly!
