So very sorry to hear of Hal's passing. He helped my Son and I with a very difficult family problem. We are very fortunate to have known him and remember his smile!.

Hal joined our family in the 70's and continued to be a part until death. He now joins my sister, his dear friend, Joann Azadi Bray in their Heavenly home.

So very sorry to hear of Hal's passing.  I did some organizational work for him when he had his therapy office in Lakewood. He had a deep love for the Seneca Native Americans and was an activist regarding  human trafficking awareness.   He had a lot of rare books, articles and artwork on Native Americans.  He loved his temple Beth Israel West that he belonged to for many years and was very fond of Rabbi Enid Lader, who recently retired.  He shared many stories about his life and experiences.  He had a very challenging life and did his best to overcome his disabilities, even getting his Masters Degree in Social Work Counseling.  He did help many people through his counseling services.  The last few years he was in the process of writing a book about his life. May Hal rest in peace and continue his activism from heaven, and maybe even attend a Pow-Wow or two.
