George was a very loved friend. I’ll always cherish our times together sitting at my kitchen table. He always reminded me that he kept a piece of my tree on his desk. He is, and will be missed. You and your family have been and will be in our prayers for God’s comfort.  He was one of the best.

My deepest heartfelt condolences on the loss of George. I am grateful for having gotten to know George over the last year. His wisdom, fortitude and sense of humor are traits that had ann indelible impact on me. My hope and prayer is to emulate George’s essence in all that I do. While we lost a wonderful man, his spirit will forever live in each and every one of you.

My younger self has such great memories of the entire Morris clan.From cookouts at my dads pool to George showing me the infamous kitchen floor can rolling from one corner to the other in Uncle Butch and Aunt Rae’s home. I am so very glad he and I

Dear Franny and family,,  I was very saddened to learn of the passing of George.  Some of my best memories are those of all of us in Mentor.     The temple, the parties and your friendship.  We are all getting older and losing those we love.  May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.  Fondly,  Iris (Rosen) Weinberger Chuck and Jamie.

George always showed respect and kindness through many years of being my sales rep.  His vigor and joy were always a boost to those he interacted with and his presence will be greatly missed.  I do get the feeling that his Friday stop at my business on his way back home to his family was uplifted by his anticipation of being with those he dearly loved.

To your entire family I want to express my deepest sense of loss and sorrow for the passing of George. George and Franny are such a part of all our lives from my early childhood memories of visits to Yonkers and the home in Mentor (even the slanted floors of his childhood home in Scranton). Really he and your family were the joy of our young lives during visits to Baltimore with all of us. My grandparents and mom Ruth and Aunt Judy as first cousins as well as my dad Irwin adored his sense of humor, commenting on how well dressed he was but most importantly of the love of our families. His parents and my grandparents always embraced the Morris family as they did us and he was such a shining example of the meaning of being a mensch, quite a bit of  Aunt Raye and Uncle Butch always shone through. Whenever we spoke  he was just so present and  kind, talking at length with Tamsin and I…keeping us updated with the family and in the last few years how he was managing his positive attitude with his illness and his love of time spent with his the family.  Dapper, mischievous and hard working (with his joy of lifelong sales relationships) and his passion of caring for his customers and Franny, the kids and grandkids. We will truly miss him and know his memory will be a blessing.  Rick and Tamsin

We were deeply saddened to read about George’s passing. Francis called George regularly to get updates on George’s health and just chat.  We considered him a great friend, conscientious salesman and occasional mentor.  His enthusiasm and passion for his work was obvious and contagious! We truly will miss his laugh, smile and passion. George has always held a special place in our hearts and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.  He was a wonderful cousin to our mom (Judy Rubenstein) and we always cherished his visits to Baltimore.  I have many fun memories of time spent with George and his family, from my childhood, and the ongoing visits to Baltimore in the later years.  Andrew and Ben always enjoyed his humor and visits and his huge presence at their special occasions.  Jerry and George loved to exchange "road warrior" sales stories and sports rivalries. I know what a special father, brother and grandfather that he was and he cherished his family more than anything in the world and he was so proud of all of you.  May his memory be a blessing. I was saddened to find out Friday that my dear friend George had passed away . I’ve known George since the 1980’s when we were sales reps at  Wembley Neckwear.  I always looked forward to seeing George at  sales meetings and trade shows. 

George was one of kind, a power house of a salesman and great guy. I will miss him dearly.

We loved George & always looked forward to seeing him at our markets. We established a special friendship & wished he & his family lived next door. Markets without George will not be the same, but he will always have a special spot in our hearts. Rest in peace dear friend.

It is with a heavy heart I leave this message for all the Morris family. I have not had contact with you all for a long time, but was following George's story and last spoke via Zoom at my mother's funeral 2 years ago.  She was his cousin and he stayed with her often in his business trips through Baltimore..and he was always a favorite of hers.  The first time I met George as he was 13 yrs older than me,  was probably when I was a very young kid and he showed me how to set off firecrackers in his home town of Wilkes Barre.  He was a mischievous and sparkling , devil-may-care , one of a kind, young man who went on to build an amazing and loving family, home, and life .  I want you to share how much he meant to me then, though I am sure he didn't know it and I never said it.. He was the coolest guy I had ever met, and had such a huge outgoing  personality that was just magnetic. I may have been out of touch for years, but he has always been a memory I cherish, I think often about, and wanted to share with you.  Keeping you all  in my thoughts and prayers.  Love to Franny and his children and grandchildren. Like his parents who I adored, George was a 'great one'.
