Edith Heimovitz passed peacefully on May 26th , surrounded by her adoring family. Edith was preceded in death by her late husband of 61 years, Marvin Heimovitz; was the loving and cherished mother of Jaimi November, Gary Heimovitz (Janet), Harley Heimovitz of Silver Spring, MD, and Randi Petkosh (deceased); grandmother of Russell (Cydny), Casey, Mark (Megan), Jared, and great grandmother of 2; and sister of Genevieve (Louis), Melvin, Gloria, Raymond, Marilyn (deceased), and Stanley (deceased). Services will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends following services at the Heimovitz residence, 1704 Lyndhurst Rd., Lyndhurst to 8 PM. Contributions are suggested to a charity of choice.
