Thank you to all of you that have added your thoughts and prayer's to the guest book. I am so sorry to those of you that we forgot to contact. Bruce will be remembered this Friday 8.29.14 at 3pm at the Zion Cemetery on the corner of Northfield and Rockside Road. Anyone who would like to join us in remembering the BEAR, please come. Thank you to those of you who have shown your love and support to our family over this last year.  It has been a very difficult year without my Brucey by my side. He was my everything in life, my best friend, my partner, my one and only love of my life. I miss him so very much and will always hold him in my heart forever. I will never forget his joy for life. His determination, his energy or his philosophy not to put off today what you would like to accomplish, do it now. Love to everyone who Bruce has touched during his time on this earth. I am so deeply saddened to just find out that my dear friend and long time boss has passed.  I will never forget all the good times I had working for him and will cherish them in my heart.  He was such an awsome human being and such a driven individual.  All my prayers and thoughts to you Jan and your family. He will be deeply missed.

I am devastated to hear my friend, my partner and my mentor has passed. I was not aware until now. It is terrible that the good people go so early. I will always think about the good and fun times we had. My prayers go out to your wonderful family.

Eric, not sure why I looked up your page tonight but, I did.  I revisited some fun memories then I saw this.  Sorry for your loss and I hope you guys are hanging in there.

My heartfelt prayers are with you and your family.  I met Bruce at the Ireland Cancer Center and I am so sad to hear of his death.  He always made me laugh when he came in for his doctor visits.  He was a man that truly enjoyed life and really fought a good fight when it came to his cancer.  May you be blessed by his memories and may God comfort you in your grief. I've known Bruce since high school.  In all the years he's been sick, he never complained.  He was a special guy and will be missed.

Bruce you will be truly missed by so many as one of those "most unforgettable characters". As you said so many times on the racquetball courts, I will say about your illness - "it cost you the game". My prayers go out to your family and friends. I am thankful your pain is finally over.

From the time I first met him when he was about 12 years old, he had an â€œI can do anything â€œ belief in himself.

By the time he left Heights High, I bet there wasn't a student at any of the east side high schools who had not heard the legend of the man they called OX,  soon to be known as Bear,  Bruce Davis.  Almost Paul Bunyan like,  he lived up to his reputation in so many ways but none more so than always being a genuinely great guy throughout his entire life. I am not sure I ever saw him without a smile, a twinkle in his eye and a great story. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your Grandpa, father and husband.
