Adam was the beloved husband of Lorna (nee Witt) of 38 years; the loving father of Kimberly (David) Robison, David (Sara) Siegal and Ian Siegal (Abby Hall, fiance); and the adored grandfather of Maren Robison, Casey Robison, William Siegal and Jamie Siegal. Adam was the son of the late Irwin Siegal and the late Marlene Siegal and brother of Norman (Deanne) Siegal and Joel (Tami) Siegal. Adam was the son-in-law of the late Dr. William Witt and Sandra Witt and brother-in-law of Lisa (James) Loeb and Brenda (Alan) Halpert.
Adam grew up in Cleveland where he graduated from University School. He met his bashert, Lorna, as a preteen at B’nai Jeshurun Congregation in Cantor’s Club. He was active in United Synagogue Youth (USY) as chapter president while Lorna strategically positioned herself as his vice president – and the “dream team” was born. They dated through their teens, navigating long distance in college, until Adam spontaneously proposed Rosh Hashanah 1984 so they could be together.
Adam earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Following graduation, Adam had a dynamic career in business/marketing for over three decades taking them to Chicago, New York City and North Carolina, although they always found their way back to Cleveland. He was passionate about developing people and growing organizations. Adam served on several boards and was a trained volunteer mentor with Cleveland Clinic’s 4th Angel Cancer Mentoring Program to support patients with similar cancer experiences.
Most notably, Adam was a beacon of light, warmth and guidance for the people in his life. He had a way of making everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room. He consistently showed up for those he loved and threw his whole self into everything he did. Adam will be sorely missed by his family, friends and community.
The funeral service occurred on Sept. 21 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel in Cleveland Heights, with interment at Mount Olive Cemetery.
