Yvonne Arrington Horton, 86 of Winston Salem, went to be with the Lord November 3, 2022.
Yvonne was retired from Hanes Hosiery then owned Yvonne’s Flowers & Gifts in Winston Salem for several years. Yvonne was a lifelong member of New Hope Methodist Church. She was a devoted Mother and dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A special thank you to all her caregivers.
Surviving is her only son, Timothy Arrington of Clemmons, NC and only granddaughter Amanda L. Gilson of Wilmington, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie Blanch Lakey and Grayson Lakey; brother, Thurmon Lakey; and sister, JoAnn Lakey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Yvonne’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
