Thelma was born on July 13, 1934 in Washington, NC a daughter to the late John William Jolley and Thelma Jolley. She retired from Wilson-Cook Medical. Thelma enjoyed traveling and she was an excellent cook and baker. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be truly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Dixon; son, Mike Dixon and wife, Margaret of Winston-Salem; daughter, Diane Dixon Bodford and husband, Tim of Siloam, NC; three grandchildren, Chris Dixon, Ashley Bodford Powell and husband, Chris, Adam Dixon and wife, Leah; one sister, Barbara Hardy Ray and husband, Bob of Ocracoke, NC; many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, January 22nd in the Chapel of Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home, Reynolda Rd. with Rev. Gene Chitwood officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memorial in Walkertown. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
