Terry Glenn Knight, 64, of Clemmons passed away December 12, 2019 at Trinity Elms. He was born June 2, 1955 in Forsyth County to the late James Odell and Ruby Jackson Knight. He attended The Children’s Center as a young child and then Walkertown Elementary School, and later he earned his GED at Forsyth Tech. He enjoyed summer camp at Camp Sky Ranch in Blowing Rock. He also trained at Goodwill Industries. He was selected to be a poster child for the United Way. Terry was a long time member of the White Rock Civic Club where he called bingo. He raised prize chickens for The Dixie Classic Fair for many years and earned several Blue Ribbons. Terry volunteered at the American Red Cross. He loved playing Christmas songs & Gospel Hymns on his harmonica. Terry was an avid NASCAR fan, as long as there was a driver on the track with the last name of Earnhardt. He spent the last 15 years and received excellent care at Clemmons Village II, the Lutheran Home, Trinity Glen and Trinity Elms until his death. The family would like to thank the Caregivers and Staff who have taken excellent care of Terry during his life. Survivors include his sisters Gail Howell(Harry), Patsy Hauser(Tim) & his twin Sherry Bowen(Gary) & Penny Powell(Tim); Nieces & Nephews Travis, Heath & Brandee Howell, Nick & Matt Hauser and Dylan and Stacie Reid; Aunts Ima Burbank, Helen Frye, Dot Jackson, Ruth King, Carol Knight, Verna Foster and Uncle Bud Jackson along with a host of special cousins and a special friend Margaret Newsome. Burial will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 18 at Walkertown Gardens Of Memory. A Memorial service will be held at 1 PM , December 18 at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Clemmons.
