Ruth West Lee

Mrs. Lee was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church in Advance.

She attended Draughon Business College and also worked as a part-time Beautician, with her sister, Eileen Wall, at the Clemmons Beauty Shop.

She loved her family and devoted most of her time to caring for her disabled son.

She was a fantastic cook and took pride in cooking for her family.

Mrs. Lee enjoyed oil painting and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bivens Lee; son, Robert Scott Lee; and siblings, Wilbur and Wayne West, Eileen Wall, Mary Josephine and Sara Pauline West, and Lawerence West.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Martha Lee Shinault; granddaughter, Margaret Elaine Miller (Mike); and great grandchildren, Brandon and Morgan.

A funeral service will be held on January 30, 2013, 1:00 pm, at Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel with Rev. Wayne Swisher officiating. The family will receive friends on January 29, 2013, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel.

Interment will follow the service at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church in Advance.
