He was born in Burlington, NC on May 16, 1933. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ronald was a business owner and worked in the automotive aftermarket industry during his career.
Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Payne Williams; and stepfather, Howard Colon Williams.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Nola Foster Payne; daughter, Deborah Jeffries (David); two grandchildren, Jennifer Vogler (Wade Hill), and Tara Jeffries; two brothers, Howard Williams (Ann), and Phillip Williams (Glenna); two great grandchildren, Cypress and Dasia Hill; and niece, Diane Asbelle.
Ronald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will truly be missed.
Ronald was an avid golfer for over 50 years enjoying the game with his family and many golfing buddies.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, March 2nd at 2pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2849 Middlebrook Drive in Clemmons. The family will receive friends for a visitation starting at 1pm.
