He was born January 4, 1934 in High Point to Alberta Brown Crowson and Sam Crowson.
Upon graduating from High Point Central High, he joined the U.S. Army. He ended his career of 38 years with Kraft Food Co. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and children. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Ronald was an avid golfer, worked with the Gideon’s, and ministered at the jail.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Shirley, of 58 years; a daughter, Julie C. King, children, Abbey and Adam; son, David Crowson and wife, Pam, children, Jordan, Nathan, Luke and Rebekah; he was blessed with six beautiful grandchildren and of four siblings he has one sister, Zada Smith, still living.
A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 2nd at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
