CLEMMONS – Richard Harold Kelley, 93, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at Trinity Elms Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 10, 1930, in Sistersville, WV, a son of the late Earl and Myrle Tracy Kelley. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Joanne S. Kelley and two brothers, Donald E. Kelley and Herbert D. Kelley. He is survived by five children, Joyce Smith (Patrick) of Chatsworth, GA, Tracy Bradshaw (George) of Clemmons, NC, Christopher Kelley (Beth) of Bermuda Run, NC, Heather Langston (Hu) of Gardendale, AL, and Holli Collinson (Jim) of Dawsonville, GA; one brother, James T. Kelley of Vienna, WV; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives; and a wealth of fellow Christians and friends. Richard was a member of the Linville Forest Church of Christ. He served as a minister and a teacher of the gospel for congregations of the Church of Christ in Ohio, North Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee for 64 years. He was a loving husband and father and a friend to all he knew. The family will receive friends at 11:30 am on Tuesday, May 7, at Linville Forest Church of Christ followed immediately by a memorial service at 12:00 noon. A graveside service will occur at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV on Wednesday, May 8, at 10:00 am.
