Paul Ray Webster, 71, of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 11, 1946 in Forsyth County to Paul Poindexter and Pansy Boggs Webster. Paul was a local collision repair business owner for over 40 years. He was known for his compassion towards others and was inspirational to many. He spent many years mentoring youth as a Pop Warner football coach for the Lewisville Titans. He loved life, coaching, skiing, golf and riding in his red truck to visit friends. Paul “Slim” was loved by all who knew him and he was known for his work ethic, integrity and love for others. He is preceded in death by his father; Paul Poindexter Webster, and a brother; Rick Webster. Surviving are his wife; Ann J. Webster, his mother; Pansy Webster, sons; Ray Webster (Dawn), and Todd Webster (Monica Matthews) as well as granddaughters; Ashley and Leah Webster, a brother; Phillip Webster, and two sisters; Ann Webster and Donna Webster. Memorial Service will be held at 3pm Wednesday at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel with Rev. Ramon Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
