Opal Comer Emley

Mrs. Opal Comer Emley, 97 of Clemmons, went to her Lord and Savior, Thursday November 30, 2017. She was born October 29, 1920 in Tarpon Springs, FL to the late Charles S. and Treva Comer. Mrs. Emley was an active Christian and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Preceding her death are her parents and daughter, Joanne. Surviving are a daughter Jean Combs (Larry), son Jack Tedder (Janet), grandchildren Melody, Brian, Lori, Steve, and April, brother Paul Comer (Faye), sisters Esther Boggs, Mary Alice Morgan (Jim), and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be Monday, 10:30 am at Vogler & Sons Funeral Home on Reynolda Road officiated by Reverend Gary Byrum, family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clemmons Village II Assisted Living, or The Oaks at Forsyth.
