Nora Lee Tuttle Edwards

Nora was born on February 15th, 1917 in Stokes County, the daughter of George “Bud” William Tuttle and Nannie Lillian Tatum Tuttle. She retired from P.H. Hanes Knitting Company of Winston-Salem in 1975. She was married to Ralph Jefferson Edwards for 52 years. He preceded her in death in 1994. She was a long time member of Beck’s Baptist Church.

She is survived by her only son Johnnie Edwards (Gale) of Enterprise, FL; Granddaughter Monica Edwards Parmele (Chris) of Arcadia, NC; Grandson Russell J. Edwards (Amanda) of Central Point, OR; Great-grandchildren Aaron Parmele, Chandler Edwards and Sophia Edwards. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her four brothers and three sisters.

The family would like to thank Village Care of King as well as the nursing staff for all of their love and compassion.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 20th, 2016 from 6pm to 7pm at Frank Vogler & Son’s Funeral Home on Reynolda Road. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21st, 2016 at 3pm at Forsyth Memorial Park.
