Mary Nell James Ridings

Mary Nell James Ridings, 84, of Lewisville, NC passed away on September 22, 2017. She was born March 3, 1933 to Nell Mabes and Charlie H. James. As well as her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers; Francis and Edward James. She is survived by a sister; Betty James Caudle(Tommy), her husband of nearly 65 years; Jerry L. Ridings, as well as her three children; Randy Ridings (Tammy), Tim Ridings (Kim), and Jerri Lynne Steelman (Don), three grandchildren; Robert Ridings, Mary Ridings Guarino (Mike), and Jason Steelman, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Mary Ridings was a graduate of Clemmons High School class of 1953. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27th at 2pm in the mausoleum at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday at Frank Vogler & Sons Clemmons chapel. Special thanks are given from the family to the staff of the Heart & Vascular Center of Forsyth Hospital, especially the help and compassion given by Dr. Karen Smith.
