Martin Luther Brown, Jr., 83, of Winston-Salem passed away September 24, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Luther Brown, Sr. and Zora Page Brown; and his wife, Grace. His immediate survivors are his daughters, Paige Prevette and husband Chris of Charlotte; Martha Lynn Stair of Harrisburg, PA; son, Martin E. Brown and wife Karen of Asheboro; step-daughter, Cathy Moore of Winston-Salem; brothers, George Brown and wife Judy; Thomas Brown and wife Lois; Wilbert Brown and wife Ruby; sisters, Verdie Matthews and husband Jesse; Earline Whittington and husband Oliver; grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas and Isaac Prevette; Andrew Dancy; and Daniel and Gracie Brown. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and loving grandfather, and will be missed by his family. Funeral Service Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel with interment to follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
