

Kernersville- Margaret Brown McInnis, born May 5, 1920 in Forsyth County, wife of 65 years to the late Leo Page McInnis, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Winston and Eddie Nance Brown, homemaker and Mother before returning to work in her later years. She worked at Baptist Hospital in the sewing room for 15 years. After retirement she volunteered at Salem Towne. Margaret drove until she was 92. She loved the Lord and her family including grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. McInnis will be held Monday, April 1, 2013 at 12 noon at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel with Carl Nelson and Daniel Farris officiating. Entombment will take place at Forsyth Memorial Park after which the family will return to the funeral home for a reception with family and friends. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 AM to 11:45 AM at the funeral home.
She is survived by three daughters, Christine Crews (Pete) of Winston-Salem, Reba Teeter (Jeff) of Winston-Salem, and Karen Lloyd (Ray) of Kernersville; grandsons, Chris Crews (Lisa), Kevin Crews (Latisha), Timothy Crews (Kim), Shannon Lloyd (Tama) and Jeremy Lloyd (Holly); and nine great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff in the Emergency Department, 6 West Tower, the Diabetes Unit at Forsyth Medical Center, and Drs. Thomas Cann, Claudine Meyer, Jeremy Young, and Ben Sayers for compassionate care shown to Margaret.
