Margaret “Maggie” Boyce Merced passed away on December 14, 2020. She was born in East Liverpool, OH on April 13, 1971 to the late Robert and Jacqueline Boyce. Maggie graduated from Ohio Northern University. In the late 90’s, she moved to NC where she taught at Brookstone College of Business. Maggie devoted her time and love to her children and family. She especially loved her time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Merced, Jr. Maggie leaves behind her children, Kaitlyn “Katie” Boyce (Alan Vause), Thomas Boyce, Jude Merced, Jose Merced III, and Gabriel Merced; grandchildren, Lucas Vause and Gracie Vause; sisters, Mickie (Tom) Six-McIntosh, Mary Louise Goodlin (Wendell), and Melinda (Michael) McDougle; significant other, Eric Witherspoon; and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
A celebration of Maggie’s life will take place on Monday, December 21st at 11am at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the Epilepsy Foundation at www.epilepsy.com
