Lee Roy Adams

He was born in Forsyth County, NC to Billy and Kate Adams. He attended Reynolds High School. Lee Roy then went on to proudly serve his country in the Navy. After his separation from the military, Lee Roy went to work for RJ Reynolds for over 30 years. In his spare time, he would spend his time serving as a member of Forsyth Friends Meeting and enjoying his passion of dancing.

He is survived by his children, Ronald Adams, Karen (Nick) Gordon, and Pamela Pope; his grandchildren, Andrew Pope, Ashley Pope, and Brittany (Daniel) Cook; his great-grandchildren, Abigail and Connor Baker; his long-term companion, Jeanette Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27 from 5-7 pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd. The Funeral Service will be Sunday at 2 pm at the funeral home. Steve Wood will be officiating the services. Lee Roy will be laid to rest at Forsyth Memorial Park following the services.
