John James Donovan Jr., “Jack”, age 90, of Clemmons, NC, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Trinity Elms of Clemmons. He was born May 27, 1924 in Bronx, NY to the late John and Valeria Donovan. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Margaret “Peggy” Donovan, on December 19, 2012; brother Frank; sons Jim and Kevin. Survived by children, Jay Donovan; Bryan (Sallyann) Donovan, of Rye, NY, and their children, Shea, Bryan “BT”; Margaret Urbowicz, of Clemmons, NC, and her children, Maggie (Trent) Melton, Kate (Yuri) Potawsky, Christine, Elizabeth; Marie (Jeff) Jarvis, of Dublin, OH, and several nieces and nephews. Jack served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a graduate of Fordham University. He was an accountant with a long and successful career specializing in distribution and procurement. He enjoyed history, traveling, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends at the lake house.
