Jerry David Pugh

He was born in Greensboro on April 16, 1952 to the late Ethelene and Grady Pugh. He graduated from the University of North Carolina. Jerry proudly served his country in the US Navy. He retired from the US Postal Service. In his spare time, Jerry loved to jog and run in marathons; and was a member of the Greensboro Running Club. He was an avid Carolina fan and loved watching his alma mater play, especially when it came to basketball.

Jerry was an animal lover and supporter of his local animal rescue. His kind heart will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by siblings: Sandra (Greg) Southard, Fred Pugh, and Randy Pugh.

The family will conduct a private service. Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with his arrangements.
