Jean Anderson White, 80 of Clemmons passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1936 in North Wilkesboro, in Wilkes County to James Roy and Vera Pearl Combs Anderson.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents and her son Michael White. She is survived by her husband Jack White and daughter Muriel.
She was a beloved wife, mother and friend. In earlier years she was an active member of the Clemmons First Presbyterian Church as a Sunday school teacher and helped with printing the church bulletins. She worked tirelessly as a PTA mother planning and baking for school holiday class parties, sewing and designing costumes for school plays. She helped a countless number of children learn how to read through phonics. In later years she spent 37 years owning and operating J&J Printers with family members, making many amazing friends along the way. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with her family and Jingles the family pet.
The family will receive friends at Vogler & Sons funeral Home, Clemmons Chapel one hour prior to the service on December 30, 2016 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Food Bank of Northwest, NC.
