Mrs. Faith Faith Inez McClurg Kates

KATES GERMANTON - Mrs. Faith I. Kates, 43, of Germanton, died Monday, January 10, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A visitation will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Frank Vogler and Sons Reynolda Road Chapel. A Funeral Service will follow Saturday, 12 noon, at Goble Funeral Home in Clarion, PA. Interment will follow at Strattanville Cemetery. Faith was born August 6, 1967 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Patricia Curll McClurg and Victor McClurg. She loved deeply and will be greatly missed. She was a great cook who loved gardening and canning. She enjoyed crafting, reading and being with her family. Surviving are her husband, Mike Kates of the home; her children, Ryan and Hillary Geary of Kernersville; stepson, Austin Kates of Walnut Cove; sisters, Deana Diesel and husband Pete of Grand Blanc, MI, and Martha Young and husband Steve of Ridgeville, S.C.; brothers, Clair Victor Curll and wife Jolynn of Harrisville, PA, and James Curll of Strattanville, PA.
