Chuck was born in Dubois County, IN on February 16, 1947 to the late Marion Tabor and the late Dorothy Fleck Tabor. He was a veteran of the US Army. On December 16, 1972 Chuck married the love of his life, the former Carole Sue Blume and pursued his career as an accountant. Chuck was an active parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He also served St. Leo The Great Catholic Church by his trade the last several years. Chuck loved spending his evenings solving the world's problems with close friends and family. Other passions included Indiana University basketball, UNC basketball, golf, card games, Elvis Presley, and Neil Diamond.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carole Sue Blume Tabor; two sons, Teke Tabor and wife Catherine of Raleigh, and Toby Tabor and wife Elizabeth of Charlotte; one sister, Judy Tabor McCarty and husband Bob of Jasper, IN; and five grandchildren, Zoey, Riley, Mason, Braeden, and Declan.
A mass will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, January 26th at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Michael Buttner and Father Brian Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 6 pm Sunday, January 25th at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home, Clemmons Chapel.
