Brian served his country in the Army from 1985 until March 1988 when he was Honorably Discharged.
Brian enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, fishing, camping, cooking, and playing darts. He had a special green thumb and loved taking care of his plants and mom’s flowers around the house.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lowery and Elizabeth Jennings and Wiley and Martha Farmer; Aunts, Shirley King and Ilene Miller of West Virginia.
Brian is survived by his mother and father Wayne and Judy Jennings; daughter, Brittany(Roger) Whitaker; sisters, Connie(Steve) Royall, Amanda(Chad) Vestal, and Ashley Jennings. He also leaves behind three loving grandchildren Bryson, Carson and Addysson; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Alvin Hayes, Shane Cook and Mark(Tina) Smallwood for all the prayers, conversations and visits over the last several weeks and months and to all the doctors, nurses, and other caretakers at Cancer Services of Forsyth County and Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative care of Elkin.
