He leaves behind his beloved wife of 34 years, Sabrina Thomas Boggess; children, Kelsey Boggess (Kesha), Kalob Boggess (Courtney), Chase Boggess (Kayla), and Corey Boggess (Alex); grandchildren, Landon, Gabby, Mavery, Charleigh Ann, Kinley, Cameron, Karmen, Klaire, Landon, Payton, and Greyson; siblings, Teresa Craig, Jay Boggess (Jeanne), and Debbie Fatty; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
He worked as a meat cutter for over 25 years, with the last 8 years being at Whole Foods. Bobby was a true West Virginia Mountaineer. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with family often over a home cooked meal that he had prepared. He spent his last couple years vacationing with Bobbi Jean and Dan Frank and enjoying life to the fullest.
Bobby was an exceptional athlete at Buffalo High School, where he was a mentor to his teammates and those around him.
Bobby was larger than life. He was a true jokester and loved to get a laugh out of everyone around him.
Bobby was a true American patriot who was incredibly proud of his country. Bobby never met a stranger wherever he went and left an impression on everyone he met. He loved spending time cheering on his kids in all aspects of their lives. Bobby was witty and loving and will truly be missed. Words can not express the impact he had on all our lives.
We are having a Special Gathering to Honor the Life of Bobby at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons. Please join us Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 pm at Shelter 3.
