Betsy H Butner

89 – CLEMMONS, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

She was born on July 31, 1934 in Forsyth County to the late James Louis Heath and Bertell (Shamel) Heath.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walter Clark Butner.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Dawn Butner Pruitt (husband Garland) and Paula Butner Brittian; grandson, Matthew Gumhold (wife Fallon), and their children, Harper and Brace; grandson, Luke Brittian; grandson, Clark Brittian (fiancé Nicole), and their children, Alexandra and Lucas.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was such a loving mother and grandmother. Her daughter Paula would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Well Care Hospice and the wonderful ladies of Miss Daisy’s Caregivers, and to all her friends for their help and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Clemmons Moravian Church, 3535 Spangenberg Avenue, Clemmons, NC, on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Chris Thore officiating. A reception will follow immediately after in the parlor.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made directly to the Alzheimers Association, 4615 Dundas Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
