Yolanda Gonzalez, 85, a native of Tampa, FL, died May 27, 2015. Yolanda married the love of her life, Edward Gonzalez, on August 24, 1952 in Ybor City, FL, and together they made their life for many years in Clearwater, raising a family. Yolanda also worked as the office manager at Jim Stewart retail shoe stores. She was predeceased by parents, Juan Cruz and Irene Monoz Cruz; sisters, Julie Priede and Modesta Licata; and brother, Manual Garcia. Yolanda is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Edward Gonzalez; daughters, Debbie Garcia (Carlos) of Tampa, and Irene Alexaitis (John) of Newberry, FL; son, Edward Allen Gonzalez (Tammy) of Wesley Chapel, FL and brother, John Cruz of Tarpon Springs, FL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A private inurnment will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park at a later time. Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
