WILLIAMS, William Wilfred 90, of Palm Harbor passed away May 17, 2014. Survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Eleanor M. (Bovill), daughters Lynne Weiner (David), Susan Busch and Anne Trainer (Robert), grandson Andrew Busch and great grandson Robert J. Busch, Jr.. Pre-deceased by grandson Robert J. Busch, Sr. and son-in-law Robert E. Busch. Son of the late Hugh Williams and Doris Houston, Will was born in Harrison, NJ on January 25, 1924. His family moved to England before WWII and Will served in the British Army. Will lived in NJ from 1958 until retiring to Florida in 1985. Trained as a sheet metal fabricator, Will made a mid-life career change when, after receiving his BA in Education from Rutgers University, he became a mathematics and sheet metal teacher at Burlington County, NJ Vo-Tech. Will and Eleanor, also a teacher, made the most of their summer vacations by camping their way across the country, something they continued well into retirement. They visited every state in the union at least once. Will was very active in his church, The Salvation Army, was Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Spring Lake, NJ and a volunteer instructor for the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday May 21st at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10-11. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Salvation Army, Belcher Road, Clearwater, FL.
