William R. King, 84, Palm Harbor, FL, formerly of West Roxbury, MA passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Suncoast Hospice after a 2 month battle with brain cancer. He worked as an Office Administrator for IBM for much of his career. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War. William was a former baseball coach and mentor for Little League and Catholic Youth Organization teams in West Roxbury, MA. Bill is survived by his wife of 60+ years Patrice (Healey), sons Stephen of Palm Harbor, FL, Michael of Hudson, MA and Patrick of Copenhagen, Denmark. He was pre-deceased by son William of Los Angeles, CA. He also leaves behind his 6 grandchildren, Ryan and Meghan of Palm Harbor, FL, Molly and Emily of Millbury, MA and William and Sophie of Copenhagen, Denmark. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church in Palm Harbor on Tuesday September 9, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. A memorial service in West Roxbury, MA is being planned to be held around the October 23-25 timeframe.
