William Franklin (Papa) Dean January 7, 1928 – March 18, 2016 Papa, of Clearwater, formerly of Gainesville, FL passed away peacefully Friday, March 18, 2016 at Mease Countryside Hospital. After High School he served in the Navy for 13 years. He spent his entire life as a master carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Isaman Dean and granddaughter, Kelli-Lynne Dean. He is survived by sons Kenneth Dean (Elaine) of Ontario, Calif, Billy Dean (Jan) of Newberry, FL, and daughters Laura Heath (John) of Clearwater, FL, Becky Cain (Rodney) of Lake City, FL , Stephanie Walker (John) of Clearwater, FL, 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Mease Countryside Hospital and especially Justin Peeples, RN. Burial will be private at a later date.
