

Bill was born in Piraeus, Greece to Antonios and Georgia (Dardenza) Livadaros on April 29, 1936.
Bill was an engineer who worked as a Merchant Marine travelling the world until he met his wife Sophie Theophilou in New York City. He then worked as a machinist for many years in New York before moving to Clearwater, Florida in 1971. He commuted to West Palm Beach, Florida for a time to work as a machinist while Sophie ran Mykonos Gifts, their Clearwater Beach gift shop. In 1977, Bill opened Ruff’s Saw & Tool Supply, an industrial hardware store, where he also cut wood stakes for various construction projects. He retired in 2003. Bill’s favorite hobby was fishing but he did also enjoy leisurely boating around the barrier islands along northern Pinellas County as well as just being outdoors enjoying nature.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Sophie, sister-in-law Angeliki and brother-in-law Nicholas Zouves, brothers Vangeli and Stathi Livadaros as well as his son-in-law Siegfried Buchberger. He is survived by his daughters Georgia, Sotiria (Sam) Morris and Kathy (Rob) Bruggeman, his grandson Vassilios (Bill) Buchberger, great-grandson Connor Buchberger, and brother Lefterri Livadaros.
Visitation will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759, on Monday, April 14 from 5-7 PM. The funeral will be held at the Holy Ascension Greek Orthodox, 1440 Laura St. Clearwater, FL 33755, on Tuesday, April 15 at 11AM. The graveside service will immediately follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
