Thomas Grayson Vest, 91 of Clearwater, Florida passed away peacefully on July 27, 2017. Born in Coalburg, West Virginia, he grew up in St. Albans. Immediately after High School, he enlisted in the Air Force. After being discharged, he attended Marshall University where he met and married Betty L. Jarrell, his wife of 66 years. After graduation, he went to work for B. F. Goodrich and in 1962 was transferred to Clearwater where he and his wife raised their two daughters. Tom was an avid golfer and a long time member of the Clearwater Country Club where he played in the American League. He was an outdoorsman who loved to bass fish and hunt. During his retirement years he enjoyed traveling, woodworking, and was an active member of the local masonic lodge. He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Catherine Dundee and Susan Diehl; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
