Selma G Bowman, age 102, died peacefully surrounded by her family. Selma lived a very full life in her 102 years. Selma lived a life dedicated to education; she was the valedictorian or her high school and college in NJ. Selma was a lifelong elementary school educator; teaching in public and private schools in NJ, NY and FL. Selma was very active in her temple, being a member of the choir and the bar mitzvah class teach for over 25 years. She is survived by her two sons, Steven of St Petersburg and Scott of Washington CT, grandchildren Kelie of Bennington VT, Jonathan of St Petersburg and Dylan of Washington CT and great grandchildren Julia and Leah of St Petersburg. Selma was predeceased by her husband of 52 years David Bowman.
