Robert Allen Forczek, 77, of Clearwater, Fla., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 9, 2021. Robert (Bob) was born in Trenton, N.J. to the late Henry and Emily (Bekarciak) Forczek. He had one brother, George Forczek who recently passed away.
For 35 years, Bob worked for Abbott Laboratories as Senior District Manager over several states, receiving numerous “All Star” and “Presidential” awards throughout his tenure. One of the awards aptly described Bob, not only in his professional work, but also in his personal life: “record of success, attitude of enthusiasm, ‘no problem’ approach to everyday crises, tireless creativity, and a leader of excellence.”
Bob loved watching baseball, playing golf, cruising with his family, and enjoying good food. But most of all, he loved his family, who always came first.
Bob is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Wildmann) Forczek, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. He is also survived by two daughters, Kirsten, wife of Michael Fragos; and Katie, wife of Daniel Sullivan. His two granddaughters, Emily and Annie Sullivan, were his joy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on at 10:30 a.m. on Fri., June 18, 2021, at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, 2405 Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor, Fla.
Visitation hours will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thurs., June 17, 2021, at the Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Fla.
