Robert Fleck

Bob was born October 14, 1943 in Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Hillside, NJ. He graduated from Youngstown State University where he played football and was active in the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Bob received his MBA from Wagner College before establishing his long career in construction in Tampa Bay, Florida. Bob married his college sweetheart and forever wife, Patricia Fleck.

Bob joins his son, Scott, along with his past family and friends in heaven and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Chris Cantonis, his daughter-in-law and family, Bridget and Mike Waterman, and his sister, Dorothy Preusse.

Bob enjoyed traveling, cruising especially, playing tennis, reading, teaching, and spending time with his family. He played a big role as “Grandpa” to Mathew, Garrett, and Jake Waterman, and Oliver Naylor and was a very special Uncle and Cousin to many.

A celebration of life for Robert will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sylvan abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33759.
