I miss you so much. Not a day goes by that I don't wake up or go to bed thinking about you. People say that you really never have one true love but for me, it will always be you. I don't quite know how to go on not seeing your fantastic face  everyday but I'm at peace with the fact that if I need you, you're just a prayer away. I love you today, I'll love you tomorrow, I'll love you forever.

Dear Rick, Im sorry to have missed you like this. I had been trying to find you and your brother JD for a few years now and just heard the aweful news. You were a great friend when I needed one. My heart goes out to your daughters and family members. I will miss the reunion of our friendship.

Your tradgic departure has left a hole in my heart.  I will always miss you but will keep you strength and memory alive.  I will be there every step of the way for Shelbey and Trinady till my dieing breath.

I can't help but sit around and remember everything we did together....every time we talked. Especially how you couldn't wait to finish working on your boat and put up your pirate flag...how you'd pass out and kidnap my pillow. You are an amazing man Rick and an even more amazing father. I'm going to miss you so much.

Rick.... I will miss you so much! I am so glad that you and I share an amazing daughter together, that is something you gave to me that I will have forever. I still cant believe you wont be here to share the things we have often talked about, but I know you will be in our hearts forever. I dont know who im supossed to call now when our baby girl is sad or heartbroken. I know you will be there when I need to talk to you, but I just wish I would be able to here you talk back to me. Thats one thing about you, you always dropped everything when I called to talk. My heart hurts so much for Shelbey, but my promise to you is that I will do my very best to take care of her. Rick I hope you like your flowers Ronnie and I left for you yesterday! You will be missed by so many my friend. You were a nice guy, great friend to so many, but most of all an AWESOME Dad! All the years I saw you at all of the get togethers at Ramona's I never really got to know you.  And, from the great things I have heard about you I really regret that.  Rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord.

Shelbey is having a very hard time but is
trying to be very brave.  I'm so glad we
got to spent a little time on Thanksgiving day.  This is so very unreal

Rick was a kind hearted man, anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him has been blessed.  We are all better people because he was in our lives. Rick will always be in my heart. When he was a small boy he wanted me to stop growing up so he could catch up and marry me, I did not see him for many years and when I did the first thing he said as a teenager was.... you did not wait for me. I love you my sweet cuz and you will always be my little tweety bird.

I only knew your brother, Justin, but if his character is any indication of his family a good soul has been lost. Justin, I am so very sorry for your loss. You were a great leader in Iraq and have become a good friend over the years. I pray for you  and your family during this time of sorrow.
