Rick Gibert, 52, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on October 21, 2023. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 22, 1971.
He attended Countryside Christian Church. Rick was full of life (known to many as “Cool Kid”), brilliant and adored his family and friends. Rick could fix anything and was always willing to help. Graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, he was awarded Recognition of Academic Excellence and Outstanding Service to The American Society of Engineering Technology. He later founded Applied Concepts Engineering in May 2001, and was devoted to his work as a Distinguished Mechanical Engineer, holding 7 patents.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Megan; his children Ethan, Connor and Harper. His mother and father, Mary and Dick Gilbert; his sister, Jennifer Glor (Shannon), and his nephew, Fisher Millman. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 11, 2023. Rick was an advocate of all forms of education.
