Pete as everyone knew him, but his family who always called him Peter, was born in Derby, Connecticut on April 12, 1959. His family moved often for his dad’s work, and he was raised in Batavia, New York, Jackson, Mississippi, and a few other places, ending in Norwalk, Connecticut, where he graduated from Norwalk High School. In 1981, Pete moved to Clearwater, FL.
Pete worked on cars and machinery his whole life and loved it. He was an ASE Master Technician and a Mazda Master Technician. Pete was praised by so many of his customers for his quality and honest work on their cars. Some of them eventually became his friends.
Pete loved his animals and birds, cars and boat from a very young age. Pete could be quite the character and was famous for his jokes, jibes, and wisecracks.
He is survived by his significant other, Janis Przywara, his sister Vicki Borlaug, Linda Turner, and John Kangas, his “brother” Jim Kaufman and wife Nancy Kaufman, Janis’ sister Pat Davis, Janis’ brother Mark (deceased) and wife Mary Lou and family, Sue Diana and family, his bestie Bill Boeggeman, and many other family and good friends. He is already truly missed.
A celebration of Pete’s life will be held at a later time.
