Lagana passed unexpectedly on November 14, 2024. He was born January 17, 1984 in Hartford, Connecticut until his family relocated to Orlando, Florida.
There he graduated from Dr. Philips High School. He attended Full Sail University earning a bachelor’s degree as a sound engineer. Most recently, he earned his second degree from the National Personal Training Institute/Tampa Florida.
Paul was employed by TransAmerican Trucking Lines as a professional truck driver. There he had the opportunity in his profession to travel the U.S. and see the many unique sites of our country.
Paul embraced life with a spirit of adventure, finding joy in personal fitness and outdoor pursuits, particularly his passion for fishing and scuba diving. He had a deep appreciation for the arts especially poetry and music, which reflected his thoughtful and creative nature. Above all, his faith was a guiding force in his life, shaping his character and inspiring those around him.
Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Nicole Marie Nix, his nephew, Gavin Cole Nix, and his niece, Haley Faith Nix. He also leaves behind his grandmother, his godmother, Lisa Aceto, his godfather, Terry Tinnirella, along with his aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
A gathering of family and friends for Paul will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road Clearwater, FL 33759, followed by a memorial service from 11:30 AM and a reception afterwards.
