Punda, Patricia “Gay”, 73, of Largo, passed away on January 10, 2017 surrounded by her children. Born in Washington DC, Gay moved to Florida at age 11. She spent most of her life in Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg with her husband, Samuel J. Punda. She was married to Sam on August 26, 1961, until widowed after 39 amazing years of marriage. Gay’s life included being an avid reader, ballet as a child, raising show collies and ice skating. She spent her life caring for others as a Nurse for 40 years. Her greatest love was her husband, Sam, and her children. Gay is survived by her sons, Samuel Punda (wife Linda) and Steven Punda (longtime girlfriend Debbie Well); daugthers, Suzie Wilson and Staci Esquinaldo (husband Bruce); 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 5 siblings. A memorial luncheon will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Lake Seminole Park, 10015 Park Blvd North, Seminole, FL 33777, Shelter # 3 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
