Mike, you will be missed. You were always such a kind and sweet friend in the neighborhood. I felt so special, when you showed me your truck. You were so proud of that truck. Of course, as a Mike thing, you offered to help me out, if I ever needed a "truck".  I know that your body is whole again. I can only imagine how happy you must be to be without pain and isolation caused by all your stomach surgeries.   You were special Mike, and will be sadly missed. I am proud to have known you, my friend.💕

I met Mike in 1996 at the Horse Racetrack in Oldsmar. And starting dating him after that for many years .  I am still numb and don’t want to believe he’s gone.... I listen to an old voicemail message I still have on my phone just so I can hear his voice and pretend he’s still here. We had some AMAZING times together. Mike was a true gentleman.  He was fun loving, giving, unconditional and had a genuine heart.  I feel so blessed to have known and shared a lot of my life with such a great man. I’m lost for words. Prayers and love to his family. Rest In Peace Mikey ... I miss you already. I have always loved you and always will.  🙏🏻❤️👫🎰🚢

Dear Mike, 
As your first grade teacher, I can still see you sitting in my class the first day with a smile on your face and twinkle in your eyes.  Throughout the year, you were always polite, kind to your classmates, and excited to learn.  You were one of the brightest students I taught during my 40 year career.  Of course, over the years, you, your Mom, and Jewell became family to me.  I love you all and am heart broken.  May God heal you and welcome you into heaven.  Your beautiful smile is now eternal. Mike,
We never actually met but I felt like I knew you through how much Jean talked about you. You somehow could make her angry but happy at the same time. I had no idea how much pain you were in, but I know that you aren't in any now. You and I will meet one day but, until then, I'll keep the memories that Jean will share with me close to my heart; and I'll smile and laugh along with her.

I only met Mike a handful of times but when I think about him I just see his big smile and friendly face. He was always so sweet to us. 
My best memory of him was Jewell’s wedding. He was so happy for her and just full of joy that night. We had such a great time celebrating with him. 
So sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace sweet Mike 💕💕💕

Mike, I know you're in Heaven & we will meet again, but regardless you will be missed. Your kind & caring spirit will be remembered. You called Jean your guardian angel & I wanted to share a sweet memory of a handmade card that you made for her one Mother's Day! Jean shared the card with me & it reminds me of how loving & thoughtful you were. Even when you called Jean at work & I ended up being the one to answer & we would have a quick phone conversation, you always asked how I was & how things were going with my church ministries. To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. See you again Mike. All my love & prayers to the family. 

Mike I spent alot of time with you in Fl. The apt on Edgewater Drive. I remember you working at the carpet place next to the Dentist's office. I remember going to the Dog Track with you. We spoke many times on the phone after I moved away. You always found me. This is just a great sadness to me. May you Rest In Peace. Gina

I have always felt that you were part mine because in your baby days, I even showed you how to use toilet paper (true story).

I am 97 years old and should have stepped into haven before you; but when I do, I know you will be there because you have said so.

"Mikey boy"
He was a happy fun loving and good hearted person. He had a great sense of humor. I could always count on him. As a friend of 30 plus years a friend I can count on is an understatement. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Florida in 1984. We quickly became inseparable hanging out everyday from the summer of our freshman year until he moved away to Colorado and then later myself moving to Atlanta, but always remaining friends. We still talked but reconnected when we both moved back to Florida, Mike being the only one that showed up to help me unload the moving truck then help with renovations. Years later he came through again, helping Tina & I pack up boxes, then help us paint and do all the flooring in our new home. Mike always showed up. He was by my side through some of the toughest times of my life, helping me in any way he could. But it wasn't just me, he was like that with everyone. He helped countless people in all situations. He could always find the good in people, something I always envied about him. He was not just successful in his personal life, but he was also successful in his professional life, too. He was a hard worker, reliable, and fiercly loyal. He built several ground up successful businesses. I'm lucky to be part of one of those even today. His ability to see the good in people made him a great manager and a great friend. Mike, from the first day I met you when I knew no one and you asked me to sit and eat lunch at your lunch table in 8th grade, to the latest conversation we had with you gloating shortly after "your Chiefs" had won the superbowl a couple of months ago, we always picked up where we left off like no time had passed by. I thank God for your friendship because you made me a better person  When I look back, you were always a part of the greatest times of my life. You will always be one of my all time best friends. Thanks for the great memories. I love you brother. Rest in peace old friend.

Awe! We all adored cousin Mike!
There wasn't a single one of us that did not look up to him as the first born cool cousin who always made us feel cooler just by his presence. I will always remember him as strong and compassionate, accepting of everyone and full of joy.
We love you Jewell and Jean and will be praying for comfort and peace that surpasses any understanding.
