Megan was always a good friend. I used to swim with her and Jeanette in the Countryside County Club  pool. We attended Countryside High School together and every single time I saw Megan or was hanging out at each others house she always made me laugh. Your service was beautiful.  I will miss you. 

The last time we spoke, I was so I’m pressed with your optamisic attitude even though you were in a rough patch in your life. Your words were “i’ve got a good attitude and God has blessed me with good health” you were always so sweet, funny, and kind. I was shocked when I saw this and it truly has hurt my heart. 
To the family, I may not personally know you all but I personally want to thank you for giving me a friend.  

Sending my deepest sympathies to the Carbonaro Family.  I have so many childhood memories with all of you between growing up in Bridgeport and swimming on the Swimteam together.  I am so sad to hear of Megan’s passing and send my love to all of you.

We were neighbors of the Carbonaro family in Commack. We lived on Gehrig Street and they were just around the corner from us on Ruth Boulevard.  My wife Sue was a very good friend of Patti's. Both families sons were also very good friends.  Our eldest Jimmy with Christopher and  our youngest Christopher with Louis.  Both Jeanette and Megan were born while they still lived in Commack.  We were all sad when they moved away to Florida but we have remained in contact over the years and even seeing them when we'd drive down to St Pete Beach during the winter. We were all so very sorry to hear of Megan's passing.  Having to go through the loss once again of a child is a terrible thing. We send our condolences to Patti, Lou and the entire family.  We look forward to visiting with you during our March visit to the West Coast.  Sending our love to everyone.

So many memories come flowing from childhood to adults. I remember I learned how to swim bc you wanted to play with my floaties and I forgot I took them off, jumped in the pool without them.... I remember visiting Fl and you showing me the sexiest guys at your swim meets then you would visit NY and I would show you the abundance of hot friends Mario had. (Even talking of MK till our last talk). I've never had so much fun playing laser tag in my life as I did with you. But anything I did with you, ended with my cheaks and stomach hurting from laughter!!! Bc you were easily the funniest person in my life. You and Jeanette together would absolutely kill me... You had so much energy! I will miss those times. I will miss having someone to relate to. The non judgmental advice we sought out from each other bc we could tell each other anything.. I am going to miss you so much. The random and outlandish things you would do, to the most outrageous things you would say!!!  I will miss it all. I love you Megan, it has been a long road-you deserve to rest peacefully in Heaven, just make sure you give EVERYBODY A KISS FOR ME!!! I love you CuZZZZ xoxo!! 

Don't really know where to start. I have soooo many memories of Meg. You know that song that says "My love open the door, yes my love"? Well Meg said that it sounded like "Marlo open the door" so she used to sing it to me all the time. When I first met my Husband Leo, she text that to me one night just so I knew she was thinking about me. Don't remember now why but Leo saw the text first and actually opened the door looking for her......We laughed for years about that.  Meg also loved what she called "souvenirs". I have a box full of items like spoons, forks, pool balls, coasters, beaded necklaces, letters from marquee signs ( That she actually jumped out of my car at a red light to get) and many many other things. Our favorite was a Blue Crab that she got on a trip up to Scooter Haven. He lived in the back window of my car for years and went everywhere with us. His name was Henry. Picture below was her birthday (26th I believe?) with Henry. I have many many memories but as I sit here and type my eyes fill with tears and I can't see to type.  Give my Daddy and Papa Chris a hug for me Meg and tell Louis I will meet him one day. Although I feel like I already did because you talked about him and loved him so much.  LOVE U LONG TIME MY SWEET MEGAN ANN.

I first met Megan in February 2008 when she was dating my son Bryan. I flew them out to California for a week we had a great time, Dirtbike riding, quad riding going to the wineries in Napa just hanging out....We had our differences in the past but we put that behind us the last time I saw her I took her in and let her shower gave her a hot meal she spent the night with me gave her some warm clothes, I will always remember her smile and wave as she walked away telling  me how much she loved me and thanking me  because of course I had to put a $20 in her hand as she walked away. In fact I sent her a message on Facebook Friday night January 25th just saying hello kiddo I miss you,  just checking on you and she sent me a 👍..... heaven gained an Angel. I love you kiddo, forever in my ❤️
