THOMAS, Marc F., 62, of Clearwater, Fl., passed away July 8, 2016. He was born January 5, 1954 to the late Dale Thomas of Danvers, MA and Joan Couture Thomas (unknown). Marc was raised by his “Nana” Mary Thomas, cousin John and his wife Rhonda Thomas. He was a 1972 graduate of Danvers High School. Marc was a truck driver and Union Steward for Waste Management and Peabody Plumbing Supply until he retired in 2010. He was a Past President of the Polish Club in Danvers and he was also a member of the V.F.W. 2473 and American Legion Post 7 in Clearwater. Marc loved camping, cooking, cruising, and hanging with his buddies. Marc is survived by his loved and adored Nancy Bucko "Miss Nance" of 35 years, step-daughter; Wendi Smith and 2 grandchildren; Savannah and D.J. Smith. He is also survived by his extended family Lona Britt “Mom”, Bob and Marilyn Caouette, Rich and Lisa Britt, Joe and Linda Evju, Ron Britt, and many nieces, nephews, and great nephew. Marc loved and cherished his Bubs; Bill Noyes, Walter Lloyd, Jim Hardy, Tom Burdulis, Bob and Adam Swift, Kevin Waltrip, Paul Hagman, Dave Elwin, Dave Snow, Dick Riel, Joe Bres, Leo Nimblet, and Frank Russo. Marc had the pleasure of meeting Jim Fagan of Clearwater. A newly formed friendship, Marc thought the world of him. He, along with his wife, Mary, were our support during Marc’s illness. Marc was preceded in death by his dear friends John Ryan, Kevin Crosby, Bob (Bongo) Marshall, Paul Marchand, Pete Maleck, and Bruce MacDonald. A Celebration of Marc’s Life will be held in September at Sunset Park Campground in Hampstead, N.H.
