I had the privilege of being Kyle's aunt.  There are no words to describe how much he is missed and was loved.  There is comfort and peace in knowing he is in heaven with his heavenly Father and I know I'll be there with him when my time comes.  I thank God for the short 29 years He allowed us to have him.

I am so sorry for your loss! We were such good friends in high school, he was my first real crush! I am so sad to hear that he is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, I wish I could attend the funeral, but I live in a different state. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

Our family was heartbroken to hear about Kyle. We have fond memories of the Sjoquist family and their genuine love for Jesus and serving others. They have always been a special blessing to us over the years. Sweet and fun memories of Kyle at church fellowships, camping, youth group, and Awana are just some of the memories we hold dear. Though the loss is painful, we are very grateful for the time we had to know him. He was always a good friend to our boys, Matt and Andrew. Praying you feel God’s eternal peace and love, today as you remember and celebrate his life, and every day!

Joanie and Greg, Kerri and I extend our deepest condolences to your family.   I am so sorry for your loss.  I remember Kyle as a young boy when I lived next door.  A fond memory of Kyle is when he would come over and play with our cats.  He was such a sweet young man.  I am so grateful for the friendship you have shown us through the years. I am deeply sorry to your family about Kyles passing. Your family was always so kind to me and I’ll forever cherish that so thank you. I’ve been friends with Kyle since 6th grade. He was one of the most amazing humans I’ve ever had the privelage to know.  His soul was pure, his laughter was infectious, his kindness and gentleness made me feel safe and free to be myself. I have so many happy, crazy,  fun memories with Kyle that I will never forget. We would laugh so hard together he was hilarious and always cheered me up. He cared about the people in his life deeply. Just so genuine and real. A good heart. Helpful. Smart. Funny. Talented. Loving. He was there for me so often and was a light to me, especially in times of darkness. I am grateful to have shared experiences with such a cool person. I’m going to miss Kyle  dearly. Much love..

Joanie and Greg, I am so sorry to read about the loss of your son.  My deepest condolences to you!  I too lost my daughter last year to complications of Multiple Sclerosis.   I know personally of the pain and sorrow to loose your child.  May our Lord bring you comfort during very painful loss.

Joanie and Greg- David and I want to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. We are so saddened by what happened. Dave specially for having been at your home that morning . Your family has always been there for us and we want to be there for you with whatever you need. Please let us know.  We are disappointed that we can't be there for you guys on Tuesday, as you know we are out of town but we send our love your way. This world has lost a beautiful person.  Kyle, you were always the friendliest, kindest, gentlest, funniest person I've ever known.  You made me smile and laugh, from the time you were a baby and every time I would see you as a teenager and adult.  My little red-headed buddy - I know you're singing with the angels now. Kyle was a good friend & could always put a smile on anyone’s face. He and I always sang “dive” together at karaoke & I will continue to do so in his memory. Until we meet again, my friend.

Kyle was know for having the sweetest heart. He when through life with such kindness and was a joy to be around. He will be missed. My deepest condolences.

Kyle taught me much about compassion. He gave to others and was deeply thoughtful. He will be loved forever. Be at peace little brother.

I had the privilege of teaching Kyle in Drama and Choir in High School at LCS. He was a kind soul and had a love for others. I will cherish his kindness to others and his kind laugh and smile!

New Years trip to Wisconsin, 2012. I believe the prompt was to act serious or mysterious. I always remember Kyle smiling, especially when trying to pretend to be serious.
