Chris was born in Clearwater, Florida on April 15th, 1967, the son of the late Kenneth Allen Morris and Betty F Morris. A proud graduate of the University of Florida, Chris earned dual bachelor’s degrees in communication and history, later enhancing his education with an MBA from the University of South Florida. His academic achievements were a testament to his dedication and passion for learning.
For the last 17 years, Chris worked for Suburban Propane, as an Operations Manager and CSC Manager. His wealth of knowledge in the industry was valued by many he met. His hard work, loyalty and dedication were a true testament to his character.
Chris was a beloved husband, father, brother, nephew and friend, and will forever be missed. Known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, Chris had a talent for bringing smiles to those around him, often sharing his favorite "dad jokes" that would lighten any room. His laughter and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Chris an avid traveler who enjoyed cruising, exploring the magic of Disney, engaging in spirited trivia games, researching his family genealogy and a very proud UF Gator.
Chris leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of 32 years, Michele, and his beloved daughter, Kelsey. He shared a close bond with his wife’s sister, Renee Link, who he worked with daily and was family to him. He is survived by a sister, Kimberly Herrin, niece Megan Herrin and many other loving extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 16 from 2-6 p.m.at Sylvan Abbey, 2853 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Corey’s Promise: Pediatric Cancer, a resource to support families with pediatric cancer.
