Kathy S. Howard

She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 21, 1953 to the late John & Lorraine (King) Sears.

Kathy grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland and graduated from Mount Hebron High School class of 1972. She studied graphic design at the Maryland Institute of Art in Baltimore, Maryland.

She went on to have a successful career as a hair stylist from the late 1970’s to mid-1990’s. During this time, Kathy became an owner operator of a hair salon in Daytona Beach, Florida that she named “Changes”.

In the late 1990’s she made another career change and began working as an interior designer.

In 2008, while working as an interior designer she met her future husband, Chuck Howard. After a two-year courtship, they married on October 1, 2010. They spent the rest of their days traveling the world together.

Kathy is survived by her adoring husband, Charles (Chuck) E. Howard; her, daughter, Danielle R. Chaillou; and sister, Ann Lorraine (Sears) Delgado.

A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin, Florida on

March 1, 2025 at 11:30am.
